Jamie Philo is a graduate of the Crane School of Music. During her college years she received extensive training in classical voice and music education, while also performing in musical theater productions and singing with her college a cappella group.
Jamie has been teaching private music students for over fifteen years. Alongside teaching, she spent more than a decade working as a voice actor while raising her three children at home. Her passion for helping others grow as musicians continues to shape her work.
Today, Jamie teaches voice and piano from her home studio, leads general music classes in a homeschool co-op, and directs a church children’s choir. She loves encouraging singers of all ages to develop confidence, musicality, and joy in their craft, and she is energized by the opportunity to work with dedicated musicians.
